Ploughshares Nursery and Alameda Point Collaborative recognize
the injustice that people of color experience and want to be part of a solution
to correct inequality. To that end Ploughshares
Nursery and Alameda Point Collaborative are participating in a racial equity
program to address these issues through training and a rigorous assessment of
our internal organization and programs.
In order to participate actively in this program we will be closing the
nursery down on Wednesdays. We hope to
open again on Wednesdays when our program is complete.
Ploughshares Nursery hours starting May 12th will be Thursday
through Sunday 10-5:30. We are sorry to shorten our hours but glad to be part
of something which promotes meaningful change in the community.
