It appears that the Delta variant of Covid is driving up ER visits to the point that hospitals will soon be overwhelmed in the Bay Area. Ploughshares Nursery is part of Alameda Point Collaborative. A.P.C. serves a community of ‘at risk’ people and we want to do everything possible to prevent spread of contagion from our customers and staff to the population we are here for and vice a versa. We will not at this time insist that you wear a mask when you visit us but we ask you out of respect for this crisis to wear a mask when you shop here. Nobody is turned away but sometimes we have to suffer inconvenience to show respect to those of us who might die if they contract a disease that we might not even notice we are carrying.
