Passiflora edulis ‘Frederic’ is back in stock. This super easy to grow vine offers beautiful little flowers and amazingly delicious fruit. The flavor is out of this world tropical-voyage-to-lost-islands FANTASTIC. Despite the tropical flavor and lush foliage this selection of edible passion flower vine doesn’t give a damn about our cool winters or even a touch of frost here and there. Plant on a trellis, fence or arbor in full sun in fast draining soil. Be sure to let go dry between water. I have managed to kill one or two of these by over watering.
Flowers Spring through Summer on a vine which can reach 15-20 feet. Fruit comes late season turning from green to purple. When purple fruit wrinkles and falls off on it’s own it’s time to eat or make juice.
Mouth watering passion fruit juice made in the kitchen cannot be matched by any grocery store product.

5 gallon container Passiflora edulis ‘Frederick’ available now.
