U.S. Green Building Counsel Volunteer Event at APC Community Garden
Join us for a hands-on volunteer day as we kick off this exciting project to restore and rejuvenate the APC Community Garden — a vital green space that nourishes both people and the planet.

👥 Volunteers Needed: Up to 40
What We’ll Do
Volunteers will help:
- Clear weeds and remove debris to make space for new growth
- Clean up areas where trash has been dumped
- Redefine garden plot borders and prepare the soil for future planting
- Assemble and install new storage shed
- Assemble and install new information kiosk
Why It Matters
This is the second volunteer effort and collaboration with the U.S. Green Building Council – C.A. (USGBC-CA) to create a sustainable, community-led garden that supports environmental education, food access, and connection to nature.
